Hammer textured rectangle drop earrings, around 3cm long and 5mm wide, plus another 1cm drop with the handmade ear wires.
The ear wires are 925 sterling silver and the rectangle part is 999 fine silver.
At the bottom is a flash of 24ct gold, fused to the silver by an ancient Korean technique called keum-boo. The gold foil (25 times thicker than gold leaf) is applied to the fine silver and then fused using a combination of heat and pressure. I love doing this technique so there will be more keum-boo items to follow!
